@mermaid.kayleigh: Its a bummer how much trash is in the ocean. But I’m glad when I cross paths with debris, knowing im able to grab it and maybe even save one animals life! Theres always some haters in the comments on these videos saying this small act is not enough or not doing anything. But for me, even scooping up one piece or saving one animal is enough! Plastic doesnt belong in the ocean. It can entangle widlife or break down into micro plastic & wildlife ingests it which causes blockages or death. Did you know we actually consume plastic when we eat fish because there is so much microplastic in the ocean!? If youre able to give up seafood that is amazing & helps marine debris immensely! If you eat fish, try to support smaller scale & local operations. Even reducing your use of plastic like water bottles & bags is huge in the span of your lifetime! One bottle at a time! @KaimanaOceanSafari 🌊♻️🐟 #savetheocean #pickuptrash #cleanuptheocean #marinedebris #oceantrash #ocean #hawaii #kona
