It isn’t pet insurance, a wellness plan is a package of services in a year long contract, insurance is separate and can be signed up for along side the wellness plan, I’m sorry this wasn’t better explained to you, the plan can be so beneficial if it’s explained/used properly

I pay $60 for two cats and full coverage and 80% reimbursement with MetLife Pet insurance. They have never fought me on a claim. They are absolutely wonderful to work with.

Just pay as much as you can and if they accept the payment they cannot send it to collections. As long as you continue to pay something every 30 days they can’t put it on your credit.

Coco goes to banfield and we use their wellness program in think i pay either 75 or 90 a month and i usually don’t have a problem since i never have to pay for shots or exams

First off, it is NOT insurance. When you agree to the contract, it even says wellness plan. Now, do I regret signing my senior dog up for the senior OWP plus package, that’s $95 a month? Yep. However, she needed to be seen on a Sunday as she woke up in a pancreatitis attack. Cheaper than the ER. It cost me $270 that day. However, her bloodwork alone at her regular vet is $280. At this appointment she got bloodwork, meds given in office, and meds to go home, exam and fluids. It will also cover the cost of her dental. Which she needs, but not emergent. I only regret it because I’m not a fan of banfield, and leaving her for simple appointments. However, I actually READ the contract and I knew that I was bound to it for a year. You cannot sign a contract, use some of it, then backtrack and say wait i don’t want this anymore. It’s not how it works. Sure, are their prices ridiculous without the wellness plan, yep. But that’s how they get you. Maybe read what you’re signing before you agree to it.

I made the mistake of getting this. It never paid off, visits still cost me a bunch and when we neutered him it was still a pretty penny. We let it run out and didn’t renew, but I regretted it so much

I understand your confusion! The Banfield that we goto is EXTREMELY confusing when getting even the smallest amount of information and they never explain correctly

Hmmm that’s weird , maybe where you go bc I only pay 60 for my puppy monthly and everything has been working out for me and she recently got spayed and I didn’t pay anything since it’s in the plan !

Go through the Hope Clinic at the Humane Society in Upper Sandusky to have her spayed. You have to schedule it several months out but they are the cheapest and they are amazing! We have had 5 of our(1

Bro I got robbed and I payed like 30 each month they only took 20 dollars off of my bill after I had paid for it for a good amount of months and my location always pressures me to get it and they moved the payment to 60 dollars now people do not get it 😭
