I do music reviews, and the most common thing I hear wrong with the begining independent artists is, the beat is to loud. You can’t hear the vocals clearly. Turn the beat down 8-12 db before you record your vocals. Then you will get a better cohesive sound when you turn it all back up with a limiter and have clear vocals.
