Have seen many patients go in and out of SNF and ALF without even being seen by the MD because they weren’t there 30 days

I worked as a director of residential services. I was the bad seed because I kept telling the executive director these patients weren’t appropriate and the golden child was the marketing/admissions. I finally quit because I was scared for my license

I thought only RNs could do assessments? Is that not state law?

I have never seen a director of wellness in MN that is not a nurse. I have seen many TMAs. All alfs in MN have to have an RN on call 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. They have to supervise unlicensed staff

100% see this all the time. Work HH and specifically in contracted facilities. Non clinical staff do the visits all the time. Supposed to be DON and charge in during the day but it’s hard to find
