I was physically hyper, talkative, and inattentive as a child and didn't get disgnosed until I was in my 30s because I had good grades until puberty which then I was called lazy & masked to survive.

I think it’s crazy how adhd can be different for boys and girls. How were your kids diagnosed. I think my son has adhd?.

How in the world did you get someone to listen to you at 4 years old. They keep telling me he's too young 😭 I need help, he needs help.

As if I saw my son the same. I have a question, does your son take medication for concentration and focus? because mine doesn't and I don't know if it's good?

I wish people would stop pushing this narrative many ,many girls display ADHD in the same way as”boys” do. I should know. It’s just another way for girls that have these symptoms to feel alone because their ADHD doesn’t present as most “girls”. I made this comment so the women and girls who see this post know they’re not alone in their symptoms.

Does your kids do really well in a classroom setting? My daughter is 9 and hits all those marks but she does a complete 180 in class & the teacher says she’s perfect in class.

As someone that didn’t get diagnosed until 28, this speaks volumes. Thank you for advocating for your daughter! She’ll have a better life being diagnosed earlier in life♥️

What was the benefit of getting them diagnosed? My husband and I both are ADHD, so there isn’t much question about my kids and I always wonder if a diagnosis is going to help them or not. 🤔

SpEd teacher here 🙋🏻‍♀️wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD until about a year ago. Things make soooo much more sense now. I find it wild it took rejecting melatonin to finally connect the dots.
