I SERIOUSLY don't get why the voting day isn't a national holiday. There are too many people with different responsibilities. Not everyone can go to the voting polls and vote in a timely fashion.

Bro my polling station was opened 6am-6pm?? Strangest time frame, when I went everyone there was 60 or older why? CAUSE EVERYONE IS AT WORK OR SCHOOL

Why are there so few polling stations in the US? I've never seen hours long lines in Canada on any election day I've voted in over 35 years.

No as long as there are voters in the line up that have not voted the polls need to stay open. It is not the fault of the voter if they don’t have enough polling stations to avoid this.

this is so weird to me bc the area I live is relatively small but we have a ton of voting stations, I was in and out in less than a minute both times I voted
