From a mans perspective, and only my own, I only truly love my kids, as in I’d do anything to see them happy. I’ve been with my wife 23years and I want her to be happy but not to the same extent.

Is it just that men and women love in different ways? Love Languages etc. for example my LL is acts of service and touch. Could it be women and men’s LL are out of whack with how they used to be?

So true. The same for me too. My mum, my aunty my godparent, my bestie and my female neighbours. All my medical team are female too. Only man who loved me was my dad and my first true love.

I think it's since men have largely been socialised to not show/express emotions as it's seen as "weak" and so expressing love openly isn't seen as "masculine" as a result

Me too. my whole family are women but not close to many. Granddads weren't a part of my life really and my dad will give advice (likely autistic) but not loving or attentive or giving at all
