Chloe, this is a brilliant. Keep raising awareness as so many people don't realise they have it. And for anyone with PCOS make sure you get regular blood tests as you're at a higher risk for diabetes.

I had gestational diabetes and even though they tested me after (which wasn’t a fasting blood test that I found odd) and they told me it had gone, which I know happens. why do I never believe them 🥺

Kids don’t usually get type 2 diabetes. These symptoms (with kids or young people) are usually in regards to type 1 diabetes. I was diagnosed in May with T1D💙

Had type 2, got a bypass and went into remission within 2 months. Unfortunately it goes in the family. Thirsty and rash was my worst symptoms. Thankfully in remission for 3 years now x

I had 3 GD pregnancies. Went after 2 then stayed after the 3rd. I did have to have insulin of a night (40 units) - lost 1 stone, on MJ. No insulin now ✋🏼 HbA1C now 41 👏🏼 still got weight to lose…

I was diagnosed NYE 2023 with type 1. I’d been suffering with symptoms since October 23 and my bloods were normal. went into DKA which is how I was diagnosed. Please don’t ignore these symptoms ppl x

I had type 2, had a gastric bypass last year and it's reversed it. Which is the only reason I had it done. x

Low Carb can help, calorie counter app can help log carbs, 100g a day is seen as low carb & best from sourdough if having bread otherwise just veg & certain fruits. Ben Bickman has a helpful book.

I would also like to add that if you have extreme thirst/urination but are cleared of Diabetes, look into Diabetes Insipidus but don't let the name confuse you! 1/2
