I worked for VW for awhile, we actually got those tiguans in a lot with over 150-200k miles, and they always serviced them with the recommended service intervals with no issues, DO YOUR MAINTENANCE

Drive a Tiguan! And we get our oil shipped directly from Germany, no issues thus far and changing oil every 6,000 or less miles!
