Oyster dressing is a Louisiana thing. My grandmother made it for my dad and when my mother married my dad, she learned how to make it for him. If the dressing have oysters in it I don’t want it.

My father taught me how to make Oyster dressing ( dressing because it’s not “stuffed” in the bird). My Dad quick sautéed the oysters in a hot pan to take the rawness off the oysters but used the juice
