My son asked me why I was crying and I told him I was so sad that so many people think less of people who don’t look like them.. and he gave me a big hug and a kiss and wiped my tears. He is my hope because he is so boldly inclusive

We try so hard to be kind and teach kindness when it’s become obvious over the last 8 years that kindness doesn’t always win. Sometimes you have to meet them where they’re at. This is that time.

Thank you. I’m a nurse for 75 adults with disabilities at a day-habilitation center. My heart is broken. I see rhe bullying daily when they all come in. I’m so sorry the bullies won. Heartbreaking

I’ve taught my son all of these. But ALSO, teach them to call it out LOUD when they see someone being hateful and discriminatory. Not violently, but hold others accountable. He’s 13.
