Healing for dogs is not always a linear journey and despite the absolute despair we feel, sometimes there are moments you can look back at and laug- this is one of them!🤣 On this day, Bown was to remain in my bedroom as repairs were being done on my home (hence the furniture in the hallway) and I was simultaneously meeting with the exterminator👷🏽‍♀️ Well, what I learned is that as his primary caretaker during such a difficult recovery, my sweet dog became extremly attached to me!🥰 So much so, that when I stepped away for 5 minutes he almost chewed through my door! 🚪🛠️ I WAS GONE FOR 5 MINUTES! 🥲 We tried to have a conversation about it later in the day, but its clear that everything was my fault and I should never leave him alone again! 😂🤣 Has your dog ever done anything outlandish while in a compromised condition?
