#Sociedad #Cultura #Desempleo #Argentina #Actualidad #FiloNews

Cake fail! 😱🫣 When you think there’s no way back, maybe there is! Having glazed cakes for 10 years, I’ve made a lot of mistakes during the way. Forgetting gelatin, make a too hot glaze, too cold, not reaching the right color, and so on. And the thing with glaze is that it’s usually the cherry on top of the cake look, so it’s such a shame when the glaze fails and you feel like all your work making the cake is wasted. When I make mistakes in the kitchen, I always try to see if there’s a way to save the cake. No cake waste on my watch! 😀 So when I saw I couldn’t use the red glaze, as it had a lot of small black dots in it because I used a too old color that didn’t dissolve properly, I had to find a solution. Some might say “why would you want to re-do it, why just not keep it as it is”. And of course I could have done that too. But this cake was one of the cakes I’m showing in my Chocolate Decoration courses and even though the course isn’t about glazing, I knew the dots would be visible on the footage and that would bother me every time I would see that video 😂 I acted quick and did something I’ve (in desperation) have attempted a few times: Removing the glaze while the cake still is very frozen! I gently removed the glaze, without damaging the surface too much, put it back in the freezer and glazed it a second time. And it actually works! The surface isn’t 100% even but it almost looks like a new cake 😍🙏🏼 When things like this happen, there’s usually always a solution. Even though it seems like it’s not going to turn out pretty. It still can! You just have to be creative 🎉 Nothing is perfect and I also make mistakes like everyone else. Things don’t go as planned sometimes and it’s important to show that as well ☺️ So the next time you perhaps make a mistake when baking, remember we all do and these situations are often the ones we learn the most from ❤️ #cakefail #fail #pastrycheflife #pastrychef #cake #baking #glaze #cakedecorating #cakedesign #pastry #patisserie #entremet #cakeinspiration
