When I was 16 my mom wouldn’t let me get a spaghetti strap dress I really wanted. Then in my early 20’s she asks why I dress so casual, no man will notice me that way.

I wasn’t allowed to wear nail polish because it would attract boys. I also got punished one time for wearing spaghetti strap tanks in the summer and had to wear my dad’s company shirts for two weeks.

A pastor used a whole service to tell us it didn’t matter how we felt, of if we wanted to have relations. If our husbands wanted it we were to do it….I was out shortly after with my young daughters.
