I do love the coordinate plane street naming system. You can get yourself anywhere just based on needing to head north/south and east/west so many blocks.

I told my transplant coworker recently that somewhere was only 3 blocks away and she got after me later saying "THERE'S NO WAY THAT WAS 3 BLOCKS, THAT TOOK FOREVER"

I always had to walk to school because I was within limits 😅 it took over an hour to get home. Now it makes sense. It was horrible. I was super skinny I blame it on all the walking as a child.
