Working from the area of discomfort, drop the legs down and laterally bend them away from the area to create space. Start at the top of the hip crest and work up to the ribs to release the QL muscle. Continue that path up and out on the muscle. You can also add a stretch at the end by tractioning the hands away from one another to create space.
