My German shepherd ruptured her ACL. TPLO surgery was $5000, $1500 out of pocket, insurance covered the rest. Just got the insurance this year thank God.

The unfortunate thing with pet insurance is if they’ve already been diagnosed they usually won’t cover preexisting health issues.

Yep, I wish I knew that I had a Yorkie that I had put down. It had liver problems and kidney problems and they wanted $5000 a day. I could not afford that if I knew that he might still be here today
