@tinyheartseducation: BEFORE you reach for honey or jam 👇 🚑 Call 000 if child has any breathing difficulties ☎️ Call 13 11 26 if child is stable (poison information line) 🐝 > 1 year give 10ml of honey every 10 minutes on the way to hospital 🍓 6-12 months give 10ml of jam every 10 minutes on the way to hospital If you don't have honey or jam, don't delay - go straight to hospital. Your child being seen by a doctor is the priority Research shows honey can make a significant difference in reducing damage, buying time for surgery and minimising long-term harm. Children under 1 shouldn't have honey do to the rare risk of infant botulism; jam has been shown to be a good second option.
Thank you for all that you do. I’ve learnt so much from your posts 🫶
