Malai Chicken Pulao ✨ Ingredients: - 1 kg chicken - 1.5 tbsp ginger garlic paste - 1 cup yogurt - 2 tbsp mayonnaise - 1/2 cup cream - Salt to taste - 1/2 tsp black pepper - 1 tsp cumin seeds powder - 1 tsp coriander powder - 1/2 tsp garam masala - 1 tbsp chopped green chillies - Handful of chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp lemon juice - 4 tbsp oil (for frying chicken) - 1/2 cup oil (for frying onions) - 1 large onion (sliced) - Khara masala: - 1 cinnamon stick - 1 tbsp cumin seeds - 10 peppercorns - 3-4 cloves - 1 black cardamom - 6 cups water - 3 tsp salt - 2 tsp garam masala - 3.5 cups rice (soaked for 15 minutes) - Fresh coriander leaves (for garnishing) - Green chillies (for garnishing) - Lemon slices (for garnishing) - Fried onions (for garnishing) - Coal (for smoke) Method : 1. Marinate chicken with ginger garlic paste, yogurt, mayonnaise, cream, spices, green chillies, coriander, and lemon juice for atleast 2 hours. 2. In a pan, heat oil and cook the marinated chicken for about 25 minutes until the chicken is done. 3. In another pan, fry sliced onions in oil until brown. Add whole spices, water, salt, and garam masala. Bring to a boil. 4. Add soaked rice to the boiling water and cook until the water dries. 5. Layer the cooked chicken over the rice.
