This current OpenAI and ChatGPT brand trip and its attendees is worthy of criticism and discourse, but it’s already being reduced to “You’re outside the club. You can’t even get in.” In case you missed it, I began implementing, for lack of a better term, an anti-AI policy in my content and greater creator business since June 2026. I’ve never actively used tools like ChatGPT and Claude in content or content creator business, but part of this policy is that I no longer promote or participate in events with suspected use of genAI in its marketing assets. I’m having a harder time implementing this policy in my book content, because some of my favorite authors are still using AI in artwork and book and event marketing. I know taking this stance won’t be perfect, because AI is in all technology, and will come with loss of potential income and fallout with brands, creators, authors and event organizers I have respect for, and rapport and relationship with. #openai #chatgpt #brandtrip #influencers #contentcreation
