We see casting plug leaks on Dodge slip yokes all the time! I tried to TIG weld one but the metal was too contaminated even after removing the plug and cleaning the 💩 out of it.

I just want to ask a question do you see alot of problems with GM or do just focus on a few issues that can happen because it's all mechanical or do you think all gm transmissions are junk?

is it just like a freeze plug that could be removed and a new one installed with some green locktite? Haven't seen this yet at our shop. If this becomes a common thing could see availability issues.
