yes!! this is so true. my first 2 weddings I booked were $1400 & first out of state for $1850–they were the best couples!! continued to gradually raise prices as I built my portfolio & now I’m heading

So I’m a new photographer and I have a few backyard weddings this fall but fall 2026 I’ve had multiple brides reach out about big weddings. One is 6 hours round trip, I’d do a full 10 hour day, I’m so torn on what to charge!
