@foodkagechris: Navy Curry 🍛 from One Piece 🏴‍☠️ Episode 133 Marinated Beef: -500g beef  -1-2 tsp garlic -1 tsp ginger -1 tsp turmeric -50g greek yogurt -salt and pepper Marinate the beef first and let it rest in the fridge before cooking.  Tomatoes: -5 tomatoes  Slice an x in the tomatoes and boil for some seconds until the skin peels away. Remove the seeds and liquid.  Caramelized Onion: -1 onion -1-2 tbsp oil Caramelize the onion by cooking on a medium heat with oil until softened, cook on low heat until they become brown. Roux: -60g fat, lard or bacon -60g all purpose flour -2-3 tbsp curry powder -1 tbsp garam masala Combine fat and flour, cook on medium heat until the color turns brown, stir frequently. After that add curry powder, garam masala, combine and remove from heat.  Curry: -3-4 potatoes  -2-3 carrots  -water -dark rou -500ml chicken stock -tomatoes -caramelized Onions -marinated beef -1/2 grated apple -salt and pepper to season -potato starch to thicken if necessary  Add potatoes and carrots in a pot, add enough water to cover. Set heat to medium-high. After everything is simmering add all other ingredients. After boiling, lower the heat to medium-low and cook until beef is tender. Remove foam and fat  from the surface.
