FASFA is only needed because tuition is ungodly high. If student loans went back to being handled by banks then tuition would drop, and you could work full time to pay for school.

take away fasfa and introduce a new plan that grants more money to scholarships and people who work and do school at the sametime. and overall lowering costs for tuition.

It’s just a problem when students go for a semester or a year and then drop out. They don’t actually spend the FAFSA on things to advance them in school. See the issue
