When I lost my Dad, the first month or so was filled with people asking how I was doing, sending flowers....and after that, no one outside of my brother and sister showed up.

Yes!!! My sister in law would invite my kids over for dinner knowing I was at the hospital with my BF and my kids were alone. She just took control and kept my kids busy. She knew what we needed!
