I have used carabiner clips for martingales , last one was was a locking one, you just twisted the lock over - meant it didn't add the length of a strap and was stronger than a clip

I can confirm my grey horse gets rubbed just h the thought of life whereas my chestnut is tough as old boots (skin wise), mentally not so much. 😂😂😂

i use this shampoo on my own hair. recommend not leaving it on for too long. I do a minute or 2 and often have a purple streak left in my hair 😂

I have that shampoo for my boy and can confirm it works 🥳 I find you have to do it once a week if really yellow let it sit for 10/15 mins before washing it out and mix it with normal shampoo. 💯 x

Just a thought, will the clip come off the Martingale attachment? If I does, Might be easier putting that on the martingale itself to prevent further ‘extension’ - hopefully that makes sense 🫣

My grey was super sensitive to rubs! Fly masks, rugs, martingales you name it! I spent my life putting rub balm on!

Our grey gets rub marks too. The fur will help a bit but won’t completely solve the problem.

Shires do a rug clip that you can unscrew and they fit on martingales brilliantly!
