@jayne_edosalon: I love this haircut. And I know it well. I was a hairstylist in the 90s in San Francisco. At the time the city was extremely stylish and overflowing with artists and musicians. Everybody wanted messy, textured hair. This was also the era that I learned how to razor cut. I feel my experience in San Francisco being a hairstylist in the 90s formed my entire career and style of haircutting. I’m very grateful for that. The trick to this look is to not wash your hair very often. When you do, don’t use regular shampoo that foams. It will make your hair fluffy and big. New Wash will clean your hair but leave it soft and “piece-y” ... then you can put a little hair balm in it and wear it for days. It can tuck behind your ear, you can push it back, or push it to one side or the other. It’s really one of the best cuts for ease and versatility. #jaynematthews #shaghaircut #90shair #90sgrunge #90saesthetic #winonaryder #shorthairinspo #grungehair #finehair #thinhairinspo #bixie
