@atmarousas: Solo in the City: A Friday Night There are millions of people in NYC and yet it can still feel so incredibly lonely. I’ve decided to start documenting and sharing some of my experiences as a 32 year old guy trying to navigate this loneliness in the city. I think we’re all looking for connection on some level, but don’t like talking about it out of concern we will come across as too needy. I’ve found this especially true for men, who are less likely to talk about their emotional needs and seek out solace in healthy ways. That is why the month of Movember seems a perfect time to kick off the “Solo in the City” series. This is for everyone out there struggling with loneliness, but I hope to particularly connect with guys out there who are doing their best.
