@jasonssourdough: Steak. Frites. Fromage Or Steak. Chips. Cheese if you prefer! This is awesome… Get it made!!! We first tasted this in the French Alps after a day on the slopes and a little Apres-ski 😊 and it’s been on our minds ever since! So we just had to make our own version using our Every Day white rolls. We stuck to the Alps recipe by using Comte Cheese, as it’s French of course and it’s nutty, sweet and slightly fruity flavour really gives it the ooh la la in the sandwich! But honestly, mature cheddar would be banging too… if that’s your cheese of choice! Here’s how to make it: 🍞Jason’s Everyday White Rolls 🥩Steak – seasoned & cooked to your desired level 🍟Chips – Maris pipers, cut into strips, coated in olive oil, salt & pepper. 🤍Bearnaise Sauce – We took the easy route and went for a shop bought version. This one from M&S has simple ingredients without any nasties… so suited us down to a T. 🧀 We used Comte 🇫🇷 cheese, bit any cheese that melts would do:-) Load it all up as per the video, then we topped the rolls with a little garlic & herb butter and popped it in the oven for 10 mins so the cheese was lovely and melted.
