I am glad she didn't apologise to him in the end. They reunited through the writing sutra sentences on her back. Ringo wasn't right, if we can miss her backstory, in the morning she was done, Akemi didn't have any right to give her orders and Mizu didn't have any reason to fight with the innocent guards who just did their job and looking for Akemi.
