I do use Yuka on everything. And it does have scientific back up. Maybe you haven’t seen it lately. It is a great app.

the only app I use is acne safe and it’s strictly just to say if an ingredient in the product is comedogenic or not. I really dislike those “clean” apps

Anytime someone brings up Yuka I suggest INCI decoder! I don’t love that they label some ingredients “icky” but I prefer that over an app rating a product 5/100 bc it has preservatives ?
