@alfskitchen: Are you going with Turkey or something else for Thanksgiving?! Im team Prime Rib all day… every day!   Nothing tops a big prime rib dinner for me, and for this cook i fired up my new @Ooni Pizza Ovens Koda 2 Max Pizza oven and knocked the entire meal out at once!     Prime rib: 5-7lb rib roast 1 cup of Beef tallow 2 tbsp fresh rosemary 2 tbsp fresh thyme 1/4 cup or more of a salt & pepper based steak rub Preheat the Ooni pizza oven to 725-800°F Mix together the beef tallow, fresh herbs, and steak seasoning until it forms a seasoned paste and set aside. Tie a boneless rib roast to ensure an even cook, and coven the entire outside with the seasoned tallow paste. Add more seasoning on top as needed. Place the roast in a foil lined roasting pan and fold the foil up leaving only the top of the roast exposed. Turn off the ooni, place the roast in for 5-10 mins to cook in the residual heat. Then turn it up to 350°F and cook until the internal reached 110-120°F internal. Remove and let rest covered in foil for atleast 30 minutes before slicing!     This is my perfect holiday and birthday dinner hands down!
