I think this is true up to a point with older people … but I also live in an outdoor centric community in a red state and the trump supporters my age (millennial) are outright fash. It’s not practical or frankly safe to try to connect with them, and also not my job to try to educate people who don’t see me as human. Happy to try to connect with Fox News peepaw but incel Connor isn’t going to even pretend to listen and might actually cause me physical harm.
