@curiousgeorge1908: Big Fish Small Fish has come a long way since their container park days. I remember I also used to chill out at their Bugis outlet after movies. Anyway, they are now into various malls with more than just fish and chips. We happened to come by to their new outlet in the west at Hillion Mall so we went for these : > House Special Surf and Turf $20.9 which includes battered dory & fried chicken chop with pilaf rice, signature crisps and fresh salad. > House Special Wings $9.9 which are chicken wings glazed with Onion Brown Sauce which was our choice sauce. > Smoked Duck Caesar Salad $11.9 > Mushroom Soup and Drink add-on set $4.5 Their signature battered dory didn’t fail with its freshness of the dory fillet and batter. Dory is an easy fish to eat not dry yet budget friendly. Their assortment of free flow sauces is one main reason folks enjoy patronizing them. This time, I tried their Korean Sauce (unique to Hillion outlet) which is actually like the ultra spicy buldak sauce. Power ! First time trying their Chicken Chop and it was juicy with a nice breaded skin. The lemon butter sauce provided another option apart from their usual ones. The wings glazed with the onion brown sauce make a good starter but I over-ordered on the chicken so we needed to take some back. We actually enjoyed the fresh Caesar Salad especially with the grilled smoked duck. Much better than your supermarket versions imho.
