When people favour feelings over critical thinking is when it starts to negatively affect everyday discussions. For example, the acceptance of the non binary ideology is compassionate at its core but if you favour critical thinking over not offending people, you will realise there is no scientific basis in this. This loss of favouring logic is a real negative affect of progressivism.
