@mjsant69: During volunteering work last year I stumbled across this grave in Dawlish, Devon and saw a surname which seemed familiar. After extensive research I realised it was my Great, Great-Uncle from World War 1. Coincidentally I also had Frederick’s war medal which was handed down from my previous generations after the Battle of Neuve Chapelle which took place in the the Artois region of France in 1915. A revisit and a quick clean placing his medal and poppy on his grave for Remembrance Day. The medal is highly cherished and now kept safe to pass onto my future generations. Lest we forget. #lestweforget #ww1 #remembrance #remembranceday #fyp
