Jalaluddin Muhammad Rumi (1207–1273) was a Persian poet, Islamic scholar, mystic, and one of the most influential spiritual thinkers in history. His poetry explored love, faith, patience, the human soul, suffering, forgiveness, and the relationship between people and God. His writings continue to resonate because they often turn ordinary struggles into deeper lessons about life and spirituality. “The same God that doesn’t answer your prayers right away is the same God that doesn’t punish you right after you sin.” — Rumi Sometimes we become impatient when our prayers aren’t answered immediately, yet we forget how much mercy exists in the fact that our mistakes aren’t punished immediately either. Not every delay means rejection, and not every moment of silence means that God has abandoned you. Sometimes there is wisdom in waiting that we cannot see yet. And sometimes the time we are given after making a mistake is itself an opportunity — to recognize it, seek forgiveness, and return to the right path. We ask for mercy when we need it, but we should also remember to be patient with God’s timing. — @xaevruno #Rumi #IslamicWisdom #DeepQuotes #Faith #LifeLessons
