@nomnomkids: Currently 6 cubes in my freezer ready to use in cooking rather than the leftovers sitting in my fridge going rancid! Some creams may seperate or go grainy so not good for serving on its own but it works fine for cooking where it gets heated up and atirred in. Do you do this? #nomnomkids #freezerhacks #wastesavinghack #moneysaving #freezingleftovers #cookingfromscratch
Never thought of this!! So annoying lol I always think why don’t they do a super small “recipe pot” like when you only need 2 tbsps or something ha - brilliant! Thank you 😁

Someone once told me I can do this with something called “leftover wine”? Does anyone know what leftover wine is?

I've avoided freezing cream cos I thought it made it grainy...So, is that not the case?

I read you only freeze cream when it’s whipped.

Freezing milk works but actually freezing cream doesn’t really work as the fats tend to split when adding back into whatever you’re cooking. Nice idea though.

I use cream sometimes up to a month after the use by date. It doesn’t go off very quick with the fat content
