My cat does this same thing to us and her sister! She’s trying to get her sister to play and when biting us it’s because she’s overstimulated! Try distracting her with a toy when it happen!

Sometimes cats get overstimulated, the grooming can be a dominant behavior. Essentially I think your cat was letting that dog know he’s boss lol

It’s their feline instinct, they get overstimulated so easy but it isn’t aggression whatsoever, cuteness aggression yes but I personally think it means that your cat is just getting comfy with ur pup

You're fine love. If your dog doesn't play or anything with the cat after 6 months or so you might want to get another car. I had to do the same for my cat bc my dogs won't play with him.

i think this may be more of a dominative grooming than a loving one. pretty normal just keep an eye on them to make sure it doesnt continue, they will settle :)

My cat used to give me love bites. Looks like either trying to initiate play or just being affectionate. The dog doesnt understand and is very uncomfortable during the interaction though
