if there’s one thing to take from this video… let it be to TAKE👏🏻PREMARITAL👏🏻COUNSELING👏🏻 Rubin and I decided to start counseling with Justin & Crystal, from our church, and I can say with my whole heart that it changed everything for us. What I love is that outside the church, they hold their own ministry of being marriage counselors and pouring into others @themarriagejournalrevealed and they don’t just take Christians, they take anyone who’s willing. But their foundation is built on God’s Word, because there is truly no other way when it comes to marriage. Idk where Rubin & I would be right now if it wasn’t for Jesus and our faith. We thought we were already strong, but counseling humbled me. It showed me areas I didn’t even realize I was lost in, and it opened my eyes to the kind of wife and partner God has called me to be. Through these sessions, Rubin and I didn’t just grow closer to each other, but we grew closer to the Lord, and we began to understand marriage the way HE designed it, NOT how the world defines it❗️ The Bible says to seek wise counsel… and this is exactly what that looks like. 💍 To my Christian family, please don’t skip this step. To anyone else watching, you’re welcome here too. This wisdom is life-changing no matter where you are in your faith journey. Premarital counseling has been one of the best investments we’ve ever made, and I truly believe it laid a foundation for a stronger, healthier, and more God-centered marriage. ❤️ If you have any questions on our experience or in general, drop em below & maybe Rubin and I will do a YouTube lol answering dating & relationships q’s 🙈 I’m so excited for what comes next, but all in the Lord’s timing💛 and with a confidence that we have the tools to make it through.
