I can’t sit idly by while unethical breeders exploit dogs to line their pockets. With thousands of dogs dying in shelters every year, there is absolutely no reason to be selling high-risk wolfdogs for thousands of dollars simply because they’re pretty. Here are the red flags broken down: 🚩 Two breeding locations in two countries (one of them in one of the hottest part of the U.S. which I’m sure is ideal for Nordic breeds) 🚩 Very minimal health testing done with no actual results posted to back up their claims 🚩 Relying on Embark as a reputable “health test” (it’s not) 🚩 Breeding FAR too many litters a year to be manageable (clear sign it is for profit) 🚩 Their purebreds are not registered with any kennel club 🚩 Zero titles on any of their purebreds to prove that they fit the breed standard and are worth breeding 🚩 Coat color and type make up most of the description of their dogs and litters, not temperament or structure or why they are breeding quality 🚩 Each wolfdog has 4+ breeds mixed in it (along with WOLF), so it is nearly impossible to predict temperament, trainability, domestication, sociability, size etc Please folks, do your research and #adoptorshopresponsibly @Wander With Willow @True North Nordics #backyardbreeder #byb #ethicalbreeder #preservationbreeder #adopt #reputablebreeder #dogbreeder #dogbreeding
