nevr had to put eggs in mine to keep it together. it stayed together all on its own. been making this dish for thanksgiving with sage in it for over 40 yrs now.

OK, I made this tonight with just a couple of tweaks, I rough chopped a bunch of beautiful shiitakes and added those in gave it a great extra little flavor and texture without being a distraction
