I work in a grocery store for almost 17 years now for the front end. I'm telling you that no matter what if stores have self check out or not that customers are never happy no matter what.

I've been complaining about self checkout for so long I do not want to go to a supermarket and scan and bag my own groceries as if I'm going to get my own employee discount

They don't even count change correct. Yesterday item was 2.60. Placed in 2.90 and still said I owed anouther dollar. Cancel tramsaction and went to a human register to buy my item

I like self check outs but I used to run a register for years, and I know what to do. But yeah waiting for help when you’re locked down for something sucks. Overall I love self checkouts.
