@brotherjamaal: Peace, November 11th is veterans day. For centuries, countless Black women and men including myself served, fought and some unfortunately died in attempt to liberate and better the overall quality of life of Black people while still being subjugated, exploited, and dominated by white supremacy and the American government they are supposedly fighting for. America still have not paid us our long over due reparations. Centuries long over due. The masses of Black/African people in Northern America fought in The Civil War when still enslaved by white America. Promised freedom, forty acres and a mule for fighting in the war but received nothing. Fought in WW1 and WW2 when still receiving inhumane treatment through Black Codes, Segregation, KKK harassment, lynchings, medical mal-practices, economic castration, and more from the hands of white America. Fought in the Vietnam War when the Vietnamese had committed no wrong doing nor inflicted any pain or suffering to Black people but fought to gain a crum of civil liberties from white America.
