At 11, I got a used PSP that didn't even work properly. At 11, my sibling got a brand new Nintendo Switch. My parents are still confused when I point out that she's the favourite lol

my parents once gave US a table tennis table for Christmas, as in me and my brother. to be clear here my brother was an avid table tennis player, I on the other hand was very clearly never interested.

Both Christmas and bday friend group before i left it always gave each other gifts and i gave gifts too but the only thing i would get from everyone was a card every year for the 8 years together

I did secret Santa at work and I got my boss some nice gifts and a stuffed badger because she loves badgers and the person who got me gave me an autism fidget toy (not even a fidget spinner 😭)

my bio father took a cologne set from my room from the previous Christmas and rewrapped it because he didn't think I was using it. I was, I just didn't need to put on the whole bottle like other teens
