The “all or nothing” mindset leads to NOTHING. 👉🏼 0 sustainable results 👉🏼 NEVER being able to stay consistent year round 👉🏼 Expecting perfection from yourself & then beating yourself up when you’re not 👉🏼 Jumping on the next fitness trend every few months 👉🏼 Spinning your wheels, always going on “health kicks” but never actually making it a lifestyle. How about instead of “ALL OR NOTHING,” you embody “all or SOMETHING?” Just because you missed a workout this week, doesn’t mean you should do 0. Just because you didn’t hit your macros yesterday, doesn’t mean you should give up tracking the rest of the week. Just because you decided to get takeout for lunch, doesn’t mean you should say “ oh well, I already messed up” and continue the bad habits for dinner. Ladies - NONE of us are perfect. You’re stuck because you try to be perfect. You are sooo flawless for about 2-3 weeks. Then, the second you have a bad day or it starts getting hard, you make a mistake. When you make a mistake, you spiral. You think you’re a failure and you just want to quit altogether. You say, “what’s the point?” That’s not a growth mindset. And this mindset will keep you stuck, unhappy, and unconfident in your body. A growth mindset says, what CAN I do today? I didn’t get my workout in this morning? OK, let me get it in at night. Missed my workout yesterday? OK, not letting myself do that 2 days in a row. “Messed up” at lunch? Didn’t hit my macros yesterday? OK, I’m making a shift today and starting over. I’m learning from my mistakes and I’m going to keep trying. Stop having the “all or nothing” mindset, and instead start having a GROWTH mindset. If you can make this mindset switch, you will unlock more results and finally make it a lifestyle. Stop giving up the second it gets hard or the second you aren’t perfect. Welcome to your fitness journey. The ones who can stay in the game the longest are the ones who win. 🔥
