@nbcla: An investigation is underway after anonymous, racist text messages were sent to students across the nation, including some at the Los Angeles Unified School District. ⁠ ⁠ “We are aware of racist and incendiary texts that are being sent nationwide, including to some of our students,” LAUSD Superintendent Alberto Carvalho said in a message Saturday afternoon. “We unequivocally condemn this hateful and threatening rhetoric.
