When a brand tells me their only sustainability initiative is paying a third party company to plant a tree halfway across the world… not good enough. 🥱 Do they pay their workers fairly ? Do they use sustainable materials? Do they have an end of life plan for their products? ♻️ passing the buck onto someone else to plant a tree isn’t good enough. It’s lazy and it’s not a genuine commitment to a healthy planet. 🌎 Plus, there’s no guarantee that a tree is actually being planted or that it survives even a few years after being planted. 🌱 Choose wisely when you spend your money and don’t fall for this sort of greenwashing.
