I paid off my student loans and I am still DESPRATELY hoping for student loan forgiveness for the simple reason that I hated paying them and I think they're ridiculous

They upped the money you need to earn in order to lose your soul. It used to be around ~$160k annual after taxes but now you need more like $450k!

I think it’s a gradual process once you start building your net worth via Roth, 401k, investments, house etc. It’s more insidious and gradual than 100k salary = Ronald Reagan suburbs.

I feel like once a business gets valued anywhere between 50 and 100 million it should just stop making profit and everything else should go to tax. Either that or nationalise it.
