My husband had POD for years and years. He tried everything and it only ever kinda helped. I asked him one day after he ran out of his antibiotics if he’d ever used something with zinc like head and shoulder. He started using it and his POD cleared up almost entirely in a few weeks. Sometimes he has flair-ups, but he uses medicated dandruff shampoo on it and in a few days you can’t tell he ever had it. It’s changed his life.

Antibiotics didn’t work for my pd :/ 3 years later I’m still battling it on and off and unfortunately for me I have too many skin allergies to use topicals.

Which antibiotic? Mine gave me an antibiotic that hasn’t been working and gave me the steroid/fungal cream🤦♀️. But I’ve already reduced my skin care to basically nothing

I just metronidazole twice a day for around 30-40 days depending on the intensity of the flare up
